My friend's father is an alcoholic. What advice can I give her?

My father wasn't an alcoholic so I don't really know what she's going through. It seems her dad gets drunk on a daily basis and yells around the house arguing with whoever he comes across with. It makes my friend cry a lot and wants to leave home. Does anyone else have an alcoholic father? How did you deal with it?

very sensitive issue....
Any(apolitical) neigbours'Organisation?who can put pressure on her father?
Do it discretely...threaten that not only in society,if necessary they will report to Office.

she should talk with her mom, and mom should try to talk with him. but either way it will not work unless he admit he has a problme with drinking. but they could do intervention with him.
but i think the only thing i can is when he is drunk for her to try to stay away from him.
