Me:- I can't wait for it get over and the rains to start.
It's starting to get really hot. The heat can be really energy sapping and i'm getting to feel the brunt of it already.
It's this dehydrated feeling, the power cuts, the sweatiness...The oncoming of the summer is something i really dread. Even the visions of finding myself in a pool and eating and drinking loads of cold stuff does not seem to help.
What are you looking forward to this summer ?

What I am looking forward to?
Nothing much except that things go well with all and that I keep well all through the summer. I am looking forward to my visit which I am anticipating this summer to Abu Dhabi and Dubai. It would be fun with my family around nothing like having the kids around.
May be I would find anew prospect there, a new job may be....

Nothing like being around with family whatever the weather be. You get to do so much to overcome the adversities of the weather.
It's going to be very hot there, but i'm sure you will have a good time there .
All the very best Mimpi and hope that you have a wonderful time there.

Yeah, its going to be very hot but it feels like low because you hardly go out and stay in a centralised AC all the time. And Dubai is still chilly during nights, can you beat it!!

Dubai has airconditioned everything and one does not feel it much till you get out on the roads. They don't have power cuts which compound the problems like they do here.
And it does get Chilli in the night, i distinctly remember it in the brief time that i was there. Things were different there then. So much has changed there.

I am not looking forward to the hot and humid days. But, I am looking forward to starting my garden, and watching it grow, and harvesting all the fresh veggies. Also looking forward to longer days, and sunshine.

There is nothing to look forward dear for the ensuing summer.Due to Global warming or othe effects, winter was not long enough here in Delhi and the weather has suddenly turned hot, as it would have been in the month of March, normally. So, in the day time we are feeling the affect of the heat and sun and one cannot enjoy the sun bath, as one would like to have. You need not dread about summner, because if you dread, you will feel the pinch of it more. Summers will surely come, whether we like it or not. It is part of nature and we cannot change it. Pray to the God that this time around, it should be 'cooler' than the normal summer.

It is getting hotter here and making us feel uncomfortable here even in day time, that too in the month of February.

We still have a few months before summer takes its toll here. I am not a big summer fan. It usually gets too hot and too bright for me (this coming from someone who grew up in a tropical country). But this summer, I am looking forward to be able to go river tubing and some kind of mellow water activity. I look forward to having barbecues as well as just sitting out until 7 in the evening and there is still daylight out.

i hate the winter, i live in new england and by the time feb. rolls around i cant stand it. I ca not wait for short sleeves, no jackets, windows down, the beach, bikinis, laying in the sun, tanning, short skirts, outdoor concerts, putting awa shovels, BBQ's and corona's with lime, vacation time.

There's no question that I far prefer the warmer seasons to the colder ones! But to be honest, there's not aything specific about Summer here that I'm especially longing for. If I was back home, I'd be all excited about going to the beach and swimming again! As for now, I shall view the onset of Summer as meaning that I'm even closer to achieving my goal of getting home. Every day's one step closer!

I am looking forward to the beach and outdoor camping with my family. Me and my wife have always been busy at work. We do go out but not for long since we have to be back in time for class of my son. Now that its summer, there will be plenty of time to enjoy.

I have the same opinion as you are. I can't wait for the summer to be over so that rainy season will come. I can't wait to feel the cold breeze and to hear the raindrops on the roof. I hate rainy season before but I have learned to love it since I was stocked at home seven months ago. I had to take care of my 5 month old baby so my husband is the only one working. I hate summer because the heat is extreme. Electric fan can't beat the heat and we don't have air condition at home so I just keep on using the fan.
I also keep on drinking lots of cold water but still every after 30 minutes I feel thirsty again. I have been telling to my husband that if we have some time or if chance allows us to we should go and look for a public swimming pool. Even if I don't know how to swim I still prefer being on the pool if it is summer. I love rainy season more than summer. The only thing that makes me hate rain is when I was working before and it so happens that the rain poured when I am on my way or haven't left home yet. I hate to get wet without reaching the office first and I hate to walk on wet pavement. I have always been craving to eat cold foods this summer.

Well it's been a very long winter up in northern Michigan and we are having a storm here right now as I type. There's some many great things that I've been missing during this winter and I'll have to just list off some of the big things that I've been missing from summer. I've been missing just being able to go outside and not be cold, I miss the summertime rain storms and going outside in them when it's still kind of warm outside, I miss camping and journeying around in the woods, and I miss longboarding around town a lot as well. I've definitely been thinking summer for a long time now and I can only hope that it comes soon.

The winter here was as good or bad as summer. I think we felt the cold here for just a couple of days. This may be effect of global warming! The summer is expected to be very hot so I dont think I am looking forward to this summer at all. Am planning a holiday and looking forward to that. And also looking forward to my daughters 18th birthday this summer.

Me and my twin daughters will spend a week in my parents' home. I will take care of my mom who is now on her advanced stage of Alzheimer. She doesn't recognize us anymore but still, I love to cherish the time spent with my mother. On our 10th wedding anniversary my husband together with the twins plan to go to Puerto Galera for a week in a resort! We were so lookingforward. However, yesterday, there is a change of plan. My hubby talked to me and he said he just wanted to spend one quality day in our new house in Binan, Laguna. The house was newly built, and there are still a lot to do with the house. But my hubby said he just wanted to experience living a day there just with his family.

I want to do more exercises this summer. I did not have many chances to practice volleyball in winter. Doing more exercise is better for the health.
