Some how I don't think Mylot is punishing you for not showing up for a while. :)
The reason your amount can drop is due to responding to or starting a discussion they don't deem fit for Mylot and delete it. If you earned 5 cents from starting that discussion they take it back when they delete it.
They also take back what you earned from a topic you responded to if it gets removed.

Hi samaru, MyLot definitely is not a scam. I think what has happenned to you is that the discussions that you replied to/ started violated and got deleted. This would in turn reduce your earnings. If you feel that this is not the case, i think you should contact MyLot http://www.mylot.com/o/contactus.aspx

I really dont know what happened in this case i have had an experience like this befoire and it was sorted out but what i feel is that probably one or more of your discussions violated the rules and you have been credited for it then obviously they will have to deduct it from you again

Don't worry, Mylot is not a scam. l ever didn't visit Mylot for a day and my balance is still the same. Maybe, it is correct that you had posted in the discussion that had been deleted. Be careful before you post to any discussion or you start any discussion. Make sure, they didn't violate Mylot's tos. Happy mylotting..

Head to the guidelines and read up on them. They will assist you with what you can and can not do. It will help you to reduce money loss from your account.
I, myself, have found that my money goes up and down at times. This is normal.
