Is Slumdog Millionaire worth 8 Oscars?

I am from India, and I liked the movie too. But I have heard a lot of controversies, mainly from Americans. What do you think. I am sure for Oscars for best music and Oscars for sound editing and sound mixing. But not sure for best movies as I have not watched other competitor movies. by the way there is a good parody article for slumdog millionaire.

I am from the United States of America. I saw Slumdog Milliomaire. I thought it was a really good movie. The music was great by A.R. Rahman and yes I know who he is. I have heard other music he has done.

Yes, and Now I am proud of A R Rahman, he has made himself proud to be an indian. may be you knew him by before, but a lot lot more people know him now. I have a 100% collection of his total work in Hindi and in English ( these are the two languages I understand, however he has composed in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and few more indian languages and in Malaysian too. ) I can give you the collection if you need, but its mostly in Hindi ( or more appropriately from bollywood )

I do watch Bollywood movies, that's how I know of A.R Rahman
