The usual reaction over the knowledge of the death of an intimate friend would of course be sorrowfulness.Apart from that a recollection of old time activities with the deceased would bring in more sobs. However one cannot but accept the real truth that life is not at all eternal and that we must all reach the hands of death one day or the other. It was an old saying that death comes in as a court jester who has little sense of the art of drama.Death is definitely the ultimate and for that matter the one and only TRUTH.

Hi there Sukumar, I'm really sorry that you lost an intimate friend. I know how it feels to be in your shoes. Over the past few years, I have lost quite a number of very dear loved ones and relatives. If we accept that life on earth is just a transition and some day all of us will have to leave this place, then maybe parting may not be so painful. I hope you find strength and comfort to go on living life without your dear friend. You can certainly honor your friend by keeping him/her in your memory, remembering all the great times you've spent together and speaking well of this person to those who know him. Take care. ~ Victor
