For foundation, I only want Max Factor. The rest-- Clinique and Victoria's Secret.

It depends what my budget is and what stuff I want to buy cheap and what stuff I want to buy more expensive. Covergirl is THE BEST makeup brand for your money, I'm convinced. I will use anything of that brand and be satisfied. Covergirl's eyeshadows are second to none, even the expensive ones. Marykay has nice cleansers and good foundations that cover and reduce shine a lot but that is it. I like Clinique foundation alright, Revlon is ok too, but right now I am on a mineral foundation kick. Cheap blush and expensive foundation is usually how i do it. Mabelline has good eye stuff and I hardly wear mascara because I love fake eyelashes. They are cheaper, easier, and faster.

I do not just use one type of makeup. I use many such as covergirl, clinque, maybelline, loreal, avon, rimmel and all for different things most of the time. Right now i have covergirl, loreal and maybelline for foundation and i most of the time mix it up because i cant ever find the color im looking for so mixing it up helps and i can use it that way. Now for mascara i use CoverGirl i find there mascara so far to be the best and it doesnt clumb all up and there mascara brush is great. I have long eyelashes and alot to cover up so that one helps me out the best. Next i use Rimmell eyebrow pencil for my eyebrows since i have very light blonde hair and it looks like i have no eyebrows so using that helps them come out and look like i actually have a face. Avon i use for there eyeshadow. Alot of eyeshadow seem to make my eyes itch and water, but when i use there product for this i dont itch and its great. THey have alot of colors to choose from and there sparkly and last all day. Clinque i use for there powder on my face. I also use there powder for eyeshadow because its more expensive and it doesnt make my eyes itch either. I use a brush to put on there powder on my eyes then i put on another color from Avon. Dont just use one brand of makeup, open your face to experience it all and have fun.

I also use different brands but hands down, it would have to be Bare Minerals. It hides all of the flaws (concealer), it does not look like you have makeup on your skin. It is supposed to be natural and I have noticed that my skin can breathe when I wear it. It looks natural and really brings out the good tones of the skin. When I first started using it, I found it a bit awkward to apply because I wasn't used to the brush method. I always used liquid before with blush and powder to follow. Once I got the hange of it though, I can have makeup on in minutes, looks great, and I can be out the door in a flash. You don't have to wait for your makeup to dry to apply the next level.

The best brand of makeup for me is Clinique. I figured this out quite by accident. When I received my first credit card, I walked straight up to the Lancome counter at Foley's. Knowing that my Grandmother used Lancome and trusted it, I thought this was a safe bet. Anyway, I spent a significant amount of money on everything from foundation to mascara. I had the whole package, including the skin care products. After a week of using the product, my face looked horrible. It was so irritated and broken out I could not even use makeup. I realized the only thing I had done differently was use this new product. I took all of the stuff I had bought back to the Lancome counter for a refund. At first, they were not going to give me a refund until I asked for the manager. Finally, they agreed. At the Clinique counter across the aisle, an associate had been listening to me complain about the condition of my skin and called me over to talk to me about my condition and how clinique products could help. She even offered me a money back gaurantee. I bought the products hoping they would help. After giving my face a few days to heal, I bagan using the makeup and skin care products and have been using it ever since. I have tried other brands but always come back to Clinique because it is the only one I have found so far that won't irritate my skin. I have even tried using mineral makeup and that didn't work either. I know this sounds a lot like a product review, but I highly recommend Clinique.
