I am confused! I feel like John Locke. Who really IS the bad guy- Ben or Charles? My husband says Ben. He says Ben kills so easily but I feel maybe he has to? I don't know. I really enjoyed last night. So John was brought back to the island after his death and was no longer dead on the island. Could this be how Jack's father is alive on the island? He was dead too? Is that why Jack had to put something of his father's in the coffin with John. Is Sun on the island to kill Ben as well as find Jin...and Walt, is Walt "chosen" like John supposed was...Walt's dreams of John that we already know are true. Who's side is Ceasar on...and that woman who was handcuffed to Syed, she is nosy! So Ben really killed John and John knows it. I guess maybe now John is convinced that Charles is the good guy. Are you convinced that you know who the good guy is...I'm not.

LOL That's what I like about Lost. With each answer you get more questions. I can't figure out why they let Walt go. It seems that each one that the island chose had a gift, and Walt definitely has a gift.
As for good guy, bad guy, this is a war. It depends on which side your on as to whether it's Ben or Charles. Bear in mind that Charles "ruled" the group of "others" for 30 years peacefully. Ben was the son of a Dharma(sp) worker. When he grew up he killed all the employees of the Dharma Institute and took over the "others".

So it sounds to me like you vote Ben to be the bad guy. I would except for the idea that what appears to be the truth isn't. Ben was too obviously "bad" from day one that is why I can't go all the way with condemning him. I don't feel like we know enough about Charles. How does Richard play into this? and Christian? If the island is so great why did Christian go and father Jack and Claire and have this whole other life? OMG!!! the questions are flowing!!!! I'm afraid I could go on and on. I do love the distraction and I will miss it when it is over.

I'm not voting for any body as good guy, bad guy. Charles is no saint either. Jeremy Bentham was some british philosopher. It is the name Charles chose for Locke when he made provisions for him to find the survivors and persuade them to come back to the island. I think he knew that most of the survivors would know who Jeremy Bentham was and make the connection.

Ben wanted to go back to the island and I don't think he had any idea who to see to find out how to do that. When he found Locke, he knew that Locke probably knew how to get back. I think Ben was surprised how easily Locke trusted him with the info. Once Ben had the info, bye-bye Locke. Ben is a leader on the island and a nobody everywhere else, John is a threat to that and he knows it. I can't wait to see what John does with Ben now!

The writers have got an excellent plot with which they can make us believe in anything . It really is a dream for any writer to have . He can make Ben look like hero or villain at any time of any episode of any season .
I did spend my time on framing theories and checked out on all the famous blogs . But i ended up to one conclusion . Whatever i guess , the writers go one step or more ahead .
Ben has always been a liar , that is one thing we know .
He could either be a lying bugger who is the villain , or a clever con man who could be the hero .
Widmore has been ruthless but truthful . He could either be a die hard kinda military based captain in his past or probably be a killer who is all violent and doesn't care about a single thing about people in the island .
What is more important is that , Jacob himself is not able to take his decisions . The ultimate question is , who the **** is Christian Shepherd and what he is doing to Jacob . representing/torturing/possessing Jacob or god knows what .
We can come to a conclusion that Jacob is the real dude who cares about Island .
We can probably note down on our single line references about Jack's Father , his actions , and say , he has the opposite view of Jacob . That is , he has wanted to get rid of Locke , he has asked Kate not to bring Aaron through Claire .
Now these actions could mean anything . Maybe it is all done for the good of the island . But we don't know . He doesn't seem good . As he comes everything as a shadowy to Jack ,whenever they meet .
What is this War between widmore and Ben ? Probably one would be wanted by Christian , and the other is actually the saviour of Jacob .
For all we know , we could be totally wrong lol .
I can't wait for the next episode though ! Namaste is the name of it . Bring it on .

WE don't exactly know who is jacob , Do we ? We just think Jacob is the Island himself through mortal form . We know Christian Sheperd spoke for him in the episode Cabin Fever a couple of seasons back . So we are under the impression that he is either captured , because Sheperds words and actions aren't in favor of the island anyway .

I think one thing Ben did on this episode is convince John that Ben is the bad guy. I don't think John is really trusting Charles either, but like Charles said, he hadn't tried to kill Locke. If Locke doesn't decide to kill off Ben, I think Jin will when he finds out that it's because of him that Sun came back to the island, whereas John was going to leave her behind.

I think Sun might beat Jin to killing Ben. I think part of the reason she went back there was to kill him.

i don't watch much faithfully, and i look forward to this show but i just got done watching it and just when you start to think you've figured it out it gets complicated again. i am disappointed, again. so we know what sawyer and the others did while they were gone. how long before they are all reunited and what then? jack and the others are basically coming from the future. sawyer and his group are in the past having had the advantage of knowing what would happen to the dharma group. now what?

I also tried my best to tell who is the bad guy in the former season. But in the latest season, I quit. It is really hard to name who is bad and who is good easily. Or maybe it is better to say that they are all bad guys and good guys. For now, I will want to know the answers of LOST. So I am keeping my eye on the latest episodes. lol

well after last night I am pretty convinced that Ben is just pure EVIL! i wish i could figure out where they (the writers) are going with all of this. the 3 years ago and jumping back and forth really got on my nerves last night! i have kind of gotten used to it but last night i was just annoyed by it. now we have to wait 2 weeks for a new episode!! arrrgggghhhh!!!
