Well, for me I would like to. To stay in their country for long time, to be able to entry other countries without so many questions and other benefits. If possible, I would prefer to have double nationality. How about you? and why?

Did you mean dual citizenship? I guess that is really an advantage. You're right, i think we can go back and forth to two countries without too much questions. But before that we should submit lots of requirements and it will really take much of our time. It can even go through years.

Thanks for all your responses. Yes, I need to go through exams and pass them all. I'm not finish yet. If I fail then I need to retake it over & over again until all exams pass. It's difficult, cost money and a lot of time. You're right, it takes years.

There are times when I did wish that I could live somewhere else, that I could live in another country. I think it's something that I'd like to do for a time. I don't know if I would like to live in another country for the rest of my life, but at least for a period of time. I think that it could be fun.

Why on earth I need to strive for another nationality? Does it equate to my non commitment towards my own country? I love my own country as I love my own mother. So there should not raise any question as to why I should opt fopr another nationality.

Why? Am not I satisfied with the one that I have. actually I hate them who would like ti opt for another nationality. Why after all? Am I not satisfied with what my mother land has provided with me? It would be a rebelling heart who would not mind if one scolds his/her mother.

I can't imagine having another nationality. This may sound egotistical but as an American I see so many people that do not want their home country for various reasons that I could not imagine wanting to change mine. I do not mind the hassle of traveling or the questions because I know they have a reason.
