I saw a dog been beaten up with a metal rod just because he tear apart the plastic bad of a lady in market.
It was a very bad to see. I thought might be dog did this for his puppies.
do animals also have rights? i am not talking about human beings (social animal) i am talking about animals who are used and then dumped.

I don't know, but I believe they don't have. It should be the human beings who will protect them, give them food, discipline them when they are unruly and give them reward if they are obedient and have done something to be proud of. Animals are for human's needs and so humans should be kind to them because animals give them food, services, company and entertainment

Animals all over the world get abused and dumped everyday. Animals need to be only chose if the family is ready for what the dog could do. Dogs all over are brought to the pound everyday just because they peed on the floor or chewed on a shoe. But in reality it was probably the owners fault. Maybe you didnt let the puppy out or you didnt buy them enough toys. People and pets need to be matched and not just chossen because of their "look."

In the USA animals have rights and in many places these are enforced, but not as often as they could be. To treat any living thing in that manner is shameful for the human involved. But just like domestic violence the more stressful life get the more abuse we see.
