Oscars-the Indian presence

The oscars were rocked this year by the Indian presence in an overwhelming manner.But does it strike us Indians that two films which have been showered with oscar prizes were made by two British directors.Why is it that both of themi.e. Sir Richard Attenborough and Danny Boyle are British.Do you in any way find it worth considering that both of them were meticulous,diligent and had a great eye for the details?And is it worth pondering over that that British still have that streak which made them rule India for more than 200 years.I am starting a debate which I know for sure will ruffle many a feather by my observation but I am willing to take it on.
