Best age to start wearing contacts?

I have contact lens since I was fourteen but my thirteen-years old cousing keeps complaining that the glasses make her look like a nerd.I am totally agreed with her because the glasses she wears don`t really fit hr face.In our days the glasses are very famous accessory and I enjoy wearing my from time to time just because they look amazing.So...I want to buy her contact lens for her birthday but I was thinking about her age...is she big enought?Thanks for your help in advance!Happy MyLotting!

I think as long as she is responsible enough for the cleaning and her parents approve, it should be fine.
I have been thinking about getting contacts but they just barely came out with the type I can wear (hopefully). But I kind of like glasses, they look stylish. But back when I was a teenager they sure didn't, now the selection is much better.

Glasses now can be a real fashion accessory. With some of the deals out there you can even get more than one pair. But if contacts are it, then just make sure she is mature enough for the care and handling. You don't want eye infections. I actually didn't get my 1st pair until I was 20.
