Generally most of us are attached to our maternal grandmother. We spend most of our childhood holidays in their place. I can never forget my late maternal grandmother who was with me for my two deliveries. I was surprised to see her mental and physical determination even at the age of her seventies. She was a great support for my mother during my delivery both physically and mentally. I used to imagine whether I will have such a stamina at my seventies. Is the modern women stamina decreasing due to the change in our lifestyle and our food habits? What do you think?...

I'm extremely close to my maternal grandmother. I always spent time with her with as a child and I still spend a lot of time with her now that I'm grown and married. My grandma is such a strong woman and she is who I learned my inner strength from. I see her taking care of family all the time, even though she is tired and her health isn't what it used to be. I'm lucky in the fact that her and my grandpa are still fairly young also. They are both in their sixties so they've always been able to do stuff with my sister and I. They also gave my mom, sister, and I a home when my mom and dad got divorced.
