Hi Leykon,
The bad thing is eBay is getting a reputation of being a place where you get junk and reality is, it's only a platform where we can all get whatever everybody else is selling.
This of course has to create some conflict with people that are used to go out and get what they're buying, feel it, seeing it, smelling it, whatever. Unless you're buying something that is not questionable what you'll get, wherever you buy it online from, you can't tell if you'll like it or not.
Myself, I buy a lot from eBay and of course that has gave me some experience, that I have to read fully and understand exactly what the seller is offering, and if that is not enough, then there's the option of communicating with the seller before bidding or buying. And if that's not good enough, then I shouldn't do business from eBay.

I guess I've been lucky when it comes to buying stuff on ebay. Everything I have ever bought in the past five years I've been really happy with. I've bought three DVD, two TV season sets of a show I love and a movie, were all in pretty great condition even. I'm sorry you seem not have had the same kind of luck I've had.

Well next time your buying on eBay, make sure the sellers feedback is over 95%. Secondly always make sure that when you are bidding, make sure you have the seller's basic details, incase you want a refund. Oh, and always use PayPal.

Hello Leykon;
Check ebay on alexa.com - Man! (sorry if you're a woman - that's just an expression) they're international! They're BIG.
Not their fault if the products once with the buyer doesn't meet the buyer's expectations: It's the seller's responsibility to post the right and honest description, photograph, this type of thing.
You need to learn to "read" between the lines and to be able to recognize
when it doesn't sound or look right.
Depending on the item and the price you paid, you might be able to return it
and ask for a refund but, again, it's got nothing to do with ebay. Check ebay policies concerning buyers' unsatisfaction or whatever word they use. And depending
who's the seller, you might not be able to retrace him/her.
You seemed just too eager to buy without having done your research. If you are
looking for a cell phone on ebay and you never saw a cell phone AND never used
one before, hell, I don't call that jinxed, I call it "blind" buyer.
Smile and do better on your next ebay purchase.
