Why is it that people duck in the rain, do they really think the rain won't hit

Good question but I think I duck in the hopes of keeping my hair dry...even though, logically, I know it won't work. I have natural curly hair that I fix to wear almost straight so getting it wet causes it to curl. Also, once your hair gets wet, it takes so long to dry. Did you ever notice that those sudden showers always happen when you don't have an umbrella and you are headed somewhere important? LOL.

That one is as funny a watching a warm summer rain start falling while at the pool and watching the swimmers run for cover lol
