Mixed bag of goodies.....

I know I live pretty close to you so yes we had about the same weather here! Pretty strange huh. I have never seen it lightning and thunder in feb.! Did you here in Des Moines lightning struck an over pass and a piece of concrete came loose and went through a ladies windshield?

We always have crazy weather this time of the year. It was beautiful out Wed., nice yesterday but cloudy and storms last night. Suppose to have snow by Sat. I have seen thunder and lightening in the middle of a snowstorm. I've seen it sleet with the sun out! We had tornado warnings last night until midnight but it wasn't that bad out in our immediate area. We had lots of rain and lightening but not high winds. I about panic when the winds are high. Maybe because our house is surrounded by older trees.

I remember one winter where we had a snowstorm and had thunder and lightening too. That was freaky. One day we were watching the snowfall as we sat in our living room. I went to the kitchen and the sun was shining. That was weird.

I thought i heard thunder but didnt think it could be lol. That was a interested little storm system we are just covered in snow now.

That sounds like quite a storm! I wouldn't have minded seeing that one. I don't think I've ever heard thunder or seen lightning during a snowstorm either. Hope your weather gets straightened out.

Hey Jill! Yes I have seen that type of weather before and it sure is wierd! I have seen it thunder and lightening when it snowed, but that is truly a wierd occurance! That really means that the weather patterns are really messed up! The temperatures must have been borderline for that to happen! It does look strange to see it snowing and thundering and lightning at the same time doesn't it?

Now that is some interesting weather. We has a little wind and a little rain (sprinkling really), but that is it. I love the way you put that. A mixed bag of goodies.

Well it never snows here so I guess we can take that out of the equation. But as for thunder and lightening it has done it really bad. We have hurricane weather here during the season so we can get high winds and other types of extreme weather. I really like it though. It is supposed to rain and hale tonight. We have not had a good rain in a long time. So I am really looking forward to it.
