Accomplished fear of flying.

Is there anybody here who has conquered their fear of flying in airplanes? I used to be 'fearless' about it when I was younger and loved riding them, but after many plane crash stories, I'm afraid now. My friend who had this fear went on a trip today by herself and conquered her fear.. it was really encouraging to hear, so I'd like to hear more stories of who conquered their fear.

I'm not really scared about planes, but I'm still a little ify.
My biggest fear is that I will actually be FLYING one soon and that will definitley be SCARYYY.
I think that plane are usually pretty safe though.

Well i am taking an aeronautical Engineering class in school and they said that we would actually get to fly an airplane!
It sounds like a lot of fun, but scary at the same time...
Definitley a good experience though.

I have always had a fear of flying. I have only flown twice, but I have been scared every time. I don't know that I could overcome it, but I vowed that the next time I flew I would enjoy it. So maybe later I can tell you a story of how I overcome it.
