windows 7

The final version of it is not released yet. The beta version is out there for free download. I didn't give it a try, i feel comfortable with XP. I might try it after the final version is released if the user feedbacks are good.

I am currently on win7. It is still in its beta testing phase but the os feels like a complete system already. The platform is way more stable than vista and faster than both xp and vista. The system has a very improved way of handling crashed processes that's more than i can say with the older os. But as it is still beta, there are bugs that might surface every now and then.. As for me i am happy with its directX11, native bluetooth stack with no need to install software for bt stacks, easier way to choose the output display if you got a projector you can just press WIN+P. It has a new feature called PC Safeguard that lets you lock a drive to prevent changes, very useful in a multi user setup. And also this very cool feature that lets you use any flash/thumb drive to directly act as a RAM module, thereby effectively boosting system performance. Btw i am somewhat new here, pls add me up?
