Why does Simon Cowell of American Idol always wear the same type of shirt?

It’s American Idol Season again but Simon Cowell is constant with his fashion statement. I don’t mean to say that there is something wrong with his choice of dress but it becomes quite intriguing. Can anyone share his opinion about Simon’s shirt? This is just a survey and we will do it for fun. If you will be asked three reasons why Simon loves his shirt, what will be your reasons. Please share it with everyone. . .
Here are my crazy thoughts about it:
a. The shirt makes him sexy for it emphasizes his nipples.
b. He doesn’t want to flaunt his riches and would like to appear simple to everyone.
c. He doesn’t want to overshadow Ryan.
Can you share your thoughts about Simon’s shirt?

Ha! I just started thinking this last night. I don't know how he gets away with it. it's crazy, but I will say he is one sexy man, but I would love to see him in some button up dress shirts a white one would just do him justice I think.

I once saw Simon Cowell wearing a suit but the inner was still his traditional shirt. I also love to see him in buttoned polo shirts. Thanks for your response.

just because he is making a style statement ,its not about money or rich,its about message simon delivers and he is clear about it

I had never given this much thought,but I would say that the three reasons for Simon's shirt are the following:
1. He is comfortable in it.
2. He doesn't seem to care what others think and so fashion is not a big deal to him.
3. It says that he doesn't care about what others are wearing.

I think that its because he wants to show people that he is still buff and what not at his age. I mean, they are pretty tight shirts. Other than that, he is prob the most comfortable in them and since he goes on national tv, maybe he gets nervous and that calms him down....

My thought is he's saying "I'm running the show (or many of them) so I can wear whatever I want, even if it's a $1.99 t-shirt". Also think he's found the ultimate way to always keep the fashion police on their heels.

I think he wears black because it's elegant and makes him look imtimidating, not to mention it's stylish and black pretty much goes with everything.

I find Simon to be a very sexy man but his shirts are something to be desired. He looks like he just came from gardening or playing tennis and came right to the set. He had a black shirt on last night and looked rather good. He does stand out and that's probably why he dresses this way.

Maybe its just what hes confortable in. I also think he does it because people talk about it I mean imangine the uproar if he wears something else. He seems like he could be a very routine type of guy so changing his wardrobe might be impossible for him lol.
