I joined them yesterday and got a few hundred clicks from both but I dont see any earnings. Anyone use them? Do they pay?

Yes. As Maria said you can see your earnings only after you surf 1000 pages. You can earn the other way too. If you refer anyone who surfs 100 pages you get 10 cents.
Smileytraffic seems to be paying. I don't have experience.
