Work bullying around us

Bullying doesn't end at school gates; it can carry on into the workplace, whatever the type of work you do. Wherever and whenever it happens, you shouldn't tolerate bullying on any level. The person bullying you is in the wrong and may have problems of his or her own that they need to sort out. If you can, just stay out of their way as much as possible, but if you really can't avoid them and they're making your life a misery, you should confide in a colleague you trust. Most companies should take bullying very seriously and have procedures in place to deal with it. Make a note of every incident and present this evidence to your manager.

to be honest if people are bullied at work most companies have policies and procedures in place. But if you are strong enough you will be able to just laugh it off its happened to me once and didnt bother me at all as it was my area manager and I told him to get a life and just ignored him unless it was business orientated. In the end he was paid off as was doing it to alot of people but once I had told him to get a life he concentrated on the more vunerable people in the staff so sticking up to bullies no matter who they are really does work its the people who dont have the confidence in themselves that unfortunatly get bullied in and out of work.

If I am bullied, I will simply ignore whoever is doing so. After all, it will make them mad. I don't realy care. Let them bully as much as they want. What help would it bring them or me? Nothing at all. That's why I just ignore them and by doing so it's as if they are talking to their own selves. I wouldn't change college, UNI or any place because of bullying. I would just let it be... :)

very good attitude towards this. I've been taking a part time job at a company for over a year. since i'm a part-timer, someone don't take me seriously, but that's ok. I know what i want clearly. But the other day, i found my working material stored in the computer was deleted, and i knew who did it, i was so angry at that time, i was almost to revenge by deleting her files, but i didn't, because i realize that she envies me from her heart. I work as half as she does but earns double as she does, she may know it. so, let her go, i won't quit or leave. I just pretend nothing happened. Thank you.
