Is it important for us students to do part time job?

Nowadays an obvious phenomenon shows that a large number of college students begin to pursue part time jobs in their free time . As far as they are concerned,it's time for them to start their occupations now for the fierce competion of job market in the future .So they prepare themselves for their future beforetime,and they have more advantages than the other .As for myself,i have to stimulate myself into my education before i can solve the problems that i may come across in all kinds of fields in the future .Because study comes first,so don't worry about your future,just do what you should do now,then the others will follow.But if you really have enough time and you can make sure that you can achieve good results in your study,then you can find part time jobs to fulfill your life. Dear friends ,what do you think about this phenomenon?

I am a full time student with a part time job. The job I have is not in my field of study. I have to work to help pay bills. My job basically pays for the fuel my husband and I use to get to work and school, and lunch for me on my extra long days. I agree that working takes time away from studing, but for me if I didn't work then I could not go to school.

Hello!Glad to share your opinion ,you remind me of my responsibilities .I am old enough to share responsibility for my parents .I am lucky girl that i do not have to worry about my fees .As a result,i didn't realize my problems .So from now on ,I want to make a balance between job and study .

I just want to add that if you do not have a 3.5 GPA and you also do not have to work then you could spend that time to study and then you will get financial aid to help your parents. Plus nothing feels as good as being on the dean's list.

That is a very good training for anyone who can do both things! I admire those people. When I was in College, I experienced working one summer, I was always a full time student and made me no time to work but I love to do it too. It gives me so much lesson in life![/i]

I think it is important for college students to have part time jobs so they can get experience and save some money or something. It looks good on resumes for a college student to have a job while going to school. Shows inituative.
