Oh good, misery loves company.
Maybe both of us need a good spanking to make us write oh. That is what happened whenever we refused to do homework. My mummy would come and spank oh.
"The spirit is unwilling and the flesh is weak" became "The spirit is unwilling and the flesh is pain". Did finish the homework oh.

Sometimes I will get ready to write an article and then stumble along, never being able to get it together. So what I do in this situation is just put down what I have. Actually typing in the words and phrases that I intend to use in the article. (Often these means disjointed research I have done on a topic). Then I let it all cook overnight. When I return the next day, I am more easily able to pull things together and all the transitions and introduction that will put everything together in the way I originally intended.
I've found that it's better to get something down, even if it is nowhere close to what it will look like in the end, and it saves me time when I am "in the flow" because a lot of the material is written down. I just need to cut, paste, add, and delete, not start from scratch.
Hope this helps. Good luck tomorrow. It's another writing day!

Thanks AA for your kind suggestion. It's very comforting to know that I'm not the only one to feel like that. Like the way you put it "let it all cook overnight". Last night I did not have anything left for "cooking". Anyway today is a good day, manage to "cook" 2 articles and serve it hot and ready at AC, Hubpages and Mintarticles.

Thanks for the best response. This week I have needed to take my own advice. It's been hard for me to write for some reason. I like it much better when I am "in the groove."

I think that we all have those writers block moments. When I get to that place, I just start writing about anything. Usually, I'll pick an object in the room and try to describe it in painstaking detail as well as how it relates to all of our senses. Don't know why this works for me but after some time of doing this exercise, the words start to flow again.

That's an unusual idea. I only know this kind of problem never occur to me in the examination hall. Maybe I should treat writing as a kind of exam, then the words will flow and flow, able to complete 12 pages of writing within 2 hours and leave the examination hall an hour early. Probably stress is the only factor that works for me.
