my twin girls were born on February 11. Elianna was 3 pounds. Isabella was 3 pounds 3 ounces. They were born 2 months early. The doctor told me they will still be in the hospital for about another month. he stated that the girls have no health problems. they are just waiting for them to gain enough weight to be able to send them home. It is so hard to leave them at the hospital each night. i can't wait until i can bring them home.

Congratulations, that is wonderful and it is good to know that both of them are healthy. I wish I could be there to help you enjoy this joyous birth. I have a set of twin grandboys I had to keep them while their mother (who was in the military) went over seas, boy did I have my hands full, but I would do it all over again if I had to. I know where you will be everyday now for the next two months. Take care of those lovely babies. And keep me up to date with their progress. Let me know when they are at home.

Those are great names... different enough that they aren't going to be confused with one another, but still having a similar sound :) Too bad you can't stay at the hospital, but at least you know they are in good hands!!

Congratulations! You've chosen two very beautiful names too. I'm happy to read that they have no health issues and I hope that the days until they are ready to come home go very fast for you. I wish you all every blessing!

Congratulations I hope that your girls gain weight and are able to come home with you soon. They look so tiny its great that they have no health problems. I know how hard it can be having to leave your babies in hospital every night but I am sure the time will pass quickly and they will be home with you before you know it.

My twins were born 7 weeks early. They were both 5 lbs and one had respiratory distress syndrome. They are now 25 years old! My niece has a set of twin girls. They are adorable. Have fun and keep us posted on their progress!

Congratulations! I can't believe I missed this post. Do you have them home now or are they still in the hospital? I hope they are still doing great and are growing, growing, growing;)

Congratulations on the birth of your twins. they are real beauties, and I love the names you choose. Don't worry before you know it they will have gained the weight they need to come home. Take advantage of it as long as you can, because when they get home you are definitely going to have your hands full.
