Hey everyone. I haven't been on here since November of 2008. I was busy trying to earn a living here at home with the kids of course. I try to work at them when I can. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here had any luck making more than a few hundreds a month. I made a couple bucks short of $400 so far for february and it's the most I made ever since I got involve with Freelance writing online.
I also got into blogging which is somewhat fun and since it's writing, why not combine the best of both worlds.
What is your thought about making money online and stuff? Do you think it's wrong to just make money online or do you think it's great to make money online as long as you do things right? I think the internet in order to make money is a wonderful thing. Without it, I would go even nuttier than I am now since I am a wahm and sahm. With three girls in the picture, it's hectic but never boring. My goal for this year as well is to get myself a car. For now, I haven't had one for a whole year. Hopefully, I will be able to reach there since I wrote articles for a guy, that money should help me and the kids as well since I would love to buy them stuff and be able to pay for my own cell bill and my student fee since I go to school online. I have been taking business management since October 2008 and love it so far but need to improve my grades more for 2 out of 3 classes that I am taking currently.

I don't think I haven't reached that $100 a month bracket yet. I can only earn at least $10 a month on all my combined online money making activities.
Since I still have a full-time job so making extra money is like a little hobby of mine. But I am interested to earn more too.

You rock girl- Just want to say hats off to ya, yes you do have your plate full/
I have been working from home since 1996 fulltime since 1996 doing varies things over the years, earlier to really contribute to household budget and be there for my kids when they were younger, then went thru divorce ya know and it became eye opener that I really wasnt that 8-5 grind worker so----
history in making. I am currently doing things like mylot just started this, and getting into writting articles just got approved to write for couple companies so we'll see how that goes, and really searching for the right web 2.0 to add to my list of accomplishments that require less pounding the pavements like in some of my sales. I love genuinely helping others and have to know that I'm helping and not just taking peoples hard earn money to my pockets and selling them on things
they don't need or want.
I like that you are a hard working mom of 3 and commend you, my kids are 20, and 24 now but mom is always mom. So is it wrong no if your honest and working with
integrity with an reputable product and or company. I know whats it like to not have wheels I just recently spent 6 mos without a car and walked mostly every where
I needed to go I took a fulltime job outside the home for 3 mos and still worked
fulltime from home to pay 50% down on a new car was that hard you betcha. I have been on a school break myself from finishing my bachelors in psychology online too, I love online classes, so I can go on to my masters. I have so many student
loans thoe I need to handle plus my kids loans for their school. I returned back
to school to encourage my 24yr son that I will go and get another degree if he would get his first one and we could graduate together, well I kept going with that
degree and he did not.
It's always nice when we can buy things just because isnt it, so I know you will
get a car soon even if it has to be a from point A to B car. What great courage and
strength I know you must have and what a great role model you are portraying for
for your babies.
Keep up the good work!

Wow. You totally rock girl. I love moms like us that love to earn a living online and it is pretty inspiring and very infectious. lol I can't stand moms who goes I wish I can find a way to make some money online and not do anything. Those moms though I try to stay away from so then I could just concentrate on my own thing since I am the one in charge of making myself some money and without my own money, I would go nuts even more. You sure know your thing about going to school online and it's great that you are still doing it. I wish your son would of stuck with his as well. Maybe someday, he will want to get back into it but in the meantime, he should find a way to make himself money online as well as adding it with offline sources to make income. I wish I could get a new car but because I do not make much, I would not be able to afford one so I would have to get those cheap car when I have the funds for it. For now, it's hard for me to be able to save any money for this month since I have to pay two bills with it. I am still waiting to get my payment from that guy that I wrote articles for. That reminds me. I need to email him. If you are interested in writing online, let me know. I'll add you to my friends list. As moms, we need to stick together and encourage each other. I can't wait for the day when I can get myself a new car/SUV. I love SUvs. You seem like a great role model as well as not just a mom but because you also go to school, you show that you can have the best of both worlds as well.

Thanks. If your goal is to also make a lot of money online, I wish you the best of luck on finding what you were searching for. I actually do some free stuff to earn income and not just on here. I just started coming back on here today which I am not sure what the owner of this community will give me. There are different ways to make free money. Later.

You are doing well, and I think you have the right attitude for making money online. You do freelance work, you get paid for your own efforts, and you have other sources of income. That is the correct way to earn online.
I wish you continued success, and I'm sure it will not be long before you are driving that new car.

thank you for your comment. I have been trying for months ever since late July to figure out on how I can do it. Ever since I started getting active on wanting to write for this one guy, I made more money than I did before for the previous months. I remember that you live in the UK and it sucks that for now, at ehow, you can't make any money on there but sooner or later, that will change. I would like to try again on those other writing sites that pays writers like us to write for them. I keep applying at those places of being rejected again but would like to make a lot more than what I am making now. Eventually, I will learn about copywriting. Copywriters make a lot of money of what I read. There is a american organization called AWAI which they teach writing courses and the copywriting one is just $39 a month for 12 months. I will take that course but for now, taking online college where I am learning business management. I'll be all done with it on Oct. 2010.Do you know a lot of freelance writers/bloggers yourself?

Thanks for answering this question. I really appreciate it. For some reasons that some people grew up thinking it's bad to make money, they have a long way to go to learn about money. Money is not bad to get since you need them in order to survive especially if you have kids and stuff to take care of. I know because I am a mom myself of three girls and they mean the world to me. Having money of my own makes me feel better because it makes me feel empower that I know how to take care of myself. I am still with my hon since I was 15 which by the way, I have three girls with, but if anything bad happen to him, I do not want it where I just rely on him to help me with the money part. I'm 29 and still young so being empowered to make money means so much to me especially since I need to cushion myself financially before that day comes. You never know when your life will get snuff out as well and you want to leave some legacy of yourself to your own future generations.

I haven't made more than that yet, but I am in a free and legit affiliate program called SFI, whose parent company is Carson Services Inc., a company that has been BBB accredited for 9 years and has a rating of A. I've only just gotten started and they say it can take some time to get off the ground, but it's worth it in hte end. It's free to join and has a plethra of resoureces. Feel free to check it out on my profile. I believe it is the 2nd banner.

I had known about SFI for quite some time. There are a few others that I came across that are basically like SFI such as My Power mall, etc. I forgot what the second one that I came across but free to get into as well.
Since you are promoting SFI, try doing some article marketing kind of thing. The more you expose your own business, the more money potential there is when it comes to any kind of business. Things are starting to take off for me but I still have a long way to go though to reach my $5,000 a month or even more a month.

Hey Melissa. There are places online that I know where I am making some money so far. I would have to message you on here instead of posting on this message where everyone can see so I can't do that but would love for you to come and see my articles for ideas on how you can make more than what you are getting right now. Do you just write on here in order to make some money or do you also write at other places? If you write not just here, there's a potential to make more than what you are currently making now. In the beginning up until last month, I was making not very much money. For the whole month of October, I made it to the payout thing of $10 and fortunately, I came across some more sites that would pay me to write more.
I would message you a link to read some articles. maybe you would come across sites that you might like yourself and be able to earn more than enough of just writing on here for discussion.

Laurie,
As far a writing for income, I think it comes down to consistency day in and day out. Doing the right things on a consistent basis over time that will help produce what ever income your goal is.
Daily posting and blogging with good content, writing the daily articles for submission....all the small work can add up to something pretty cool!
Good Luck!

Hey Corey. I know. I have been a freelance writer since late July of 2008. Just starting this month did I made more than what I did for the previous month. I am still waiting to get my payment of about or at least $200 from one guy that I write for. He had paid me before but for some reason, I don't think he checks his email on a daily basis. I write at different places online that pays writers like us such as at ehow, associated content (the guy I write for pays me a lot more than what AC gives me for upfront payment. I haven't reached the thousand per view thing on there), examiner, etc.
I wish I had known sooner to become a freelance writer but I guess it's better late than never, right? I'm 29 and I was 28 when i started getting into freelance writing and recently more into blogging. I would like to be able to get into pay per post and social spark but my blogs weren't good enough for them yet.
Thanks for the tips.
