i was talking to one of my friends today and he was telling me about this girl that he met when he was on vacation and they really liked each other and they have kept in contact over the past several months and now they think that they love each other(their in their twentys so they might be) and the problem is he doesn't have the income right now to move to where she is and he really does care about her, but hes just not sure that shes patient enough to wait on him because she said that she needs someone to be there with her on a daily basis that she can touch(they made the agreement that they wont date others)so what do you think, if you really cared about someone else and htey didn't live close enough, could you be patient enough to wait for them? i would like to thank you in advance for taking the time out of your day to come by and read my discussion and try and help me with my discussion, thanks and have a safe and happy weekend, happy mylotting!

Hey there! That's difficult. But if she really love him she can wait. As long as they don't loss their communication with each other, they can make it. Have a nice weekend too! Happy posting!

Hi,
I think 'enough' is a relative term, which varies with the gravity of situation.
I try to be patient--sometimes succeed,sometimes not.

Personally, I would not be able to wait. I don't think a long distance relationship would work for me even though it's only temporary. There are many people out there that succeed at this type of relationship, but I wouldn't be one of them. Plus, you could make all the promises and agreements you want, but you would never know if the other person broke that promise.
I might be able to wait a month or two, but anymore than that would just be too hard. I would like to live a normal life and if the person had the funds later down the road, we can try it out and see if we still think we're in love.

My girlfriend and I have been involved in a long distance relationship for almost three years now. We're coming up to our anniversary on March 30th!
And it IS long distance - She's in Michigan U.S.A. and I'm in Brisbane Australia.
We only get to spend 3-6 months a year together and the time apart is absolutely hellish.
We alternate countries and trips.
So yeah.... when we're together, all the waiting in the world is worth it, but when we're apart it's one of the hardest and most horrible things I've ever had to do in my life.
She was in tears last night when we were doing web cam chat and it's horrible to feel so helpless - I just wanted to hold her so badly.
*sighs*.
At this point for all accounts and purposes we're engaged. And she'll be moving out here next year for at least year to work. After that I'm hoping to eithe rkeep her here or I'll come back to the U.S.A.
That's why I'm on here to be honest. I'm trying everything I can do get extra money so we can be together again.
Even posting to earn mere cents on a website heh.
*sighs*.
