with todays movies there are a lot of good ones but then again in my opinion there are a lot of movies that aren't so good either, and then there was movies back awhile back that are older that might have been made in the 80's or 90's that are good but then there are some of those that are not so good, but i guess since i am part of the new generation then i am a fan of the newer movies sometimes because there are a lot more special effects that they put in movies now, so what about you do you like older or newer movies more? i would like to thank you in advance for taking the time out of your day to come by and read my discussion and try and help me with my discussion, thanks and have a safe and happy weekend, happy mylotting!

I'm not really too picky about when movies were filmed as some of my favorites are older than I am, whereas others are newer releases. But so long as it catches my interest, I could care less. LOL!

Well, I prefer movies of today than before. Like what you said there are a lot of improvements. The special effects is more realistic than before. The stunts are awesome. Acting would be equal. One movie that I like in the nineties was "The Never Ending Story". I love that movie. It is my favorite childhood movie. When I was a child I thought that it was a huge dog but it was actually a dragon. But it look like a dog. lol.

It really depends on the type of movies. I'm a fan of the horror genre and agree with "barbie84"; the older horror movies were much better than today's bland horror movies. As for action and comedy movies, I have to go with the newer movies manly because of technology with the special effects and stuff.
