Well, I am excited because I can still see the sun at 7pm.. which means long day of work outside. I can do a lot of work outside like beautifying my yard, tending my garden and all sort of outside activities. My hubby likes it this time of year when the day is long because he can extend his work and that means more hours more pay.. hahahaha... What about you? are you excited with it?
Please share...

Yeah, I'm ready for daylight savings time, I can't wait for the days to start getting longer. I too like to be able to spend more time outdoors working in my yard, and just being outdoors, and enjoying the sunshine.

I am VERY excited about the longer days! More outside time...plus, we live kinda in the woods...so it gets dark out here a lot faster anyway...I love spring and summer...the sun...but I hate the mosquitos...what is their purpose anyway???

Springing forward, I love it! I'm sure I'll miss it though and show up late, why can't we be like Arizona, they don't bother with it.

I guess most people are excited about having back the regular time. I do too because like you, I want to see the sun is still up even at past 8pm. People can do a lot of things when the sun is still at night.

Well I am so looking forward to it. Right now the sun sets here around 6:15. I don't get off work until 6:00. I can't wait to drive home and still have daylight hours. I love working in my yard and now that my azaleas are beginning to bloom I'm getting that urge to start putting out flowers.

Hi Bebs,
I love it too. I will not be paranoid when hubby leaves to work when it is still dark outside. I know this is a safe neighborhood but sometimes, i cannot stop to think bad thoughts..LOL!
So, this time, it will be very light outside when he leaves! LOL!

Oh that that DST happened here in the Philippines during the Marcos era as a way of saving electricity I know that your DST in USA is far far different. My relatives in the UK do have that as well. I know your daytime is now longer so you have to adjust your clock and now could be more active and have long hours of enjoying the sun. But more enjoyable is getting more pay! Ha!ha!ha!

that's correct my friend.. long hours more pay... But I like it because we have the same time with you in the Philippines. I mean, if it is 8pm here, it will be 8am there.. Now? we here in North Carolina is 1 hour behind from the Philippine time. With this, it will be easy for me to have chat schedule with my family there. yahooo!!!

Hello friend since we are not affected by the daylight saving time it doesn't matter at all. Though way back when I am still working in a call center we have to follow with the DST since we cater to our clients base on their time zone so we used to go to work one hour ahead of time to cater on the calls of the customer base on their time.

Hey Bebs! I like it because it means it will be nice out and
I can take my chair outside and sit with my friend who lives
across the street and we can see our neighbors who we don't
get to see all winter! It's so different in our neighborhood
in the nice weather! We get to see everyone again! I love to
sit out in front of my apartment! Sometimes I even take my
cats!

I'm excited about longer daylight hours, but not the time change. I am in California, but all my friends and family are in Hawaii. The current time difference is 2 hours, but it will become 3. It's easier for me to call Hawaii when we are only 2 hours apart.
When I get off of work, I want to call them, but they are still working. By the time they get home, cook and eat dinner, clean up, help the kids with homework, put the kids to bed, it's too late for them to call me.
I know it's only an hour, but it does make a lot of difference to me. So, yay for sunlight and boo for time change.

in QLD, Australia we voted out Daylight savings in a state election, and I'm so glad.
It was my most hated time of the year.
Summer's here are pretty horrible and hot as it is, but with daylight savings, we were lucky if the sun would set by 8:30pm at night.
