I have been coaching an inner-city baltimore basketball team for two years now. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It took about a week for the kids to respect me, as I am white and none of them are. Many of these kids come to school and keep up respectable grades so they can play organized ball. It also keeps them off the streets and away from trouble. It's a good place to teach the kids life lessons without them even knowing it!

Any activities that can keep kids motivated and gives them something that they feel good about is great. Often times this is sports. Keep up the great work!!

That sounds like a rewarding experience. I'm glad that you are making a difference in these children's lives. Thanks for your dedication.
