What is the one food you refuse to eat?? That mkes you sick?? or you just cant stand the taste??
Ok now with that question asked heres the dilema
You are stuck in a strange place, (There is no way out your just stuck, no phones , no transportation this is your home for the rest of your life) You are all alone for the rest of your life. You have all the comforts that you need to live EXCEPT there is only one food. What is that food?? its the thing you sai you cant stand. Would you eat it or would you starve??
I would probably have to eat it. I would eat just a little each day till my taste buds got used to it. If its the only way to survive i guess i have no choice.

Ewww... can I mention two? They both make me wretch to even look at them! One is tripe and the other black pudding. I completely refuse to touch either of them, nutricious or not... they tast foul, have a gross consistency and I cannot abide them!
I would starve in the situation you described, but would be more likely to seek out something in the wild, like edible leaves, berries or nuts, depending on the time of year. I could NOT stomach either of those foods, in any situation, at any given time... yuck!!!
Brightest Blessings my friend.

I'll pass on watching that one if you don't mind, my friend. I'm a meat eater but when it comes to eating congealed, cooked blood, my defenses go up! I HAVE tried it on more than one occasion and the texture is like little granules of something yucky on your tongue... and it's wrapped in a skin, like a sausage. Yuck!!!

Hi Princess,
I don't eat vegetables and funny innards of animals. That's generally it though I am more accepting of vegetables nowadays (not all but some).
I can't answer that hypothetical question as it is really hard to know what will happen when you reach a point of extreme hunger - after all, I doubt cannibals hunger after human meat in normal times.

Hi Mssnow, I'm a very picky eater but the one thing hat really disgusts me is mushrooms. Just the thought of eatting them makes me want to vomit. If I was stuck eatting these for the rest of my life I think I would lose some weight before I forced one down. I might start eatting the flowes in the yard first though.
So, may I ask what that one food item would be for you?
Hugs, Tianna

Reminds me of raw oysters. I just puke out the whole thing the same second one entered my mouth.

Hello mssnow...the one food I truely hate is lobster! How strange living in a seafood province where fishing is a main livelyhood!..
I just cant stand it and wont eat it.
I would try all other options first..like cut it up and leave it outside and hope some other creature came along to eat it and I would capture them and eat them instead
Ok, I would cut it up and dangle it on a fishing pole in the water and hope a better tasting fish would take the bait.
You did say all the comforts! I think I would resort to eating my toothpaste!

Hi Princess! You like setting these questions for us, or should I say dilemma, the dilemma for me is that there is more than one food that I refuse to eat, but if I had to pinpoint one I would say squid, yuk! That rubbery, foul taste, that I didn't realize was squid until someone told me after they have served it up to me and I had to stop myself from spitting it out in front of them. Hmmmmph difficult too as the thought of eating it, I guess if I was hungry enough and there was absolutely nothing else vaguely edible I would force myself, about keeping alive at all costs isn't it, I would just have to hold my nose and swallow!

I hate chitterlings. They make me gag every time I smell them being cooked. They have a smell unlike anything I have smelled in my life. As for your question of whether I would eat this foor or die . I think I would have to give in and eat it. I did have chitterlings fried before and I must say I can bear eating them fried, but I hate them when there boiled.
