The role of TV

Most people have a TV set at home and spend much time watching it. People can get alot of information through TV programs and relax on a comfortable sofa while watching it. Why do many people like watching TV? What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of TV? Do you and your family also spend alot of time watching TV? what program do you like most??????

Hello shenqixu! When we don't have a computer yet, tv is one of my source of entertainment especially when I am bored or something. So probably, that's the reason why many people watch tv. Tv is more interactive too compare to newspapers or books.
The advantages of tv are it's entertaining, informative and easy to understand because we're using our sense of hearing and seeing.
The disadvantages because there are some tv shows which are not good for children and when children aren't guided by parents while watching, the child can imitate what he saw. It can also cause obesity for children because of eating while watching tv.

I have not watched TV for a long time,,, i do not remember the last time when i watched TV,,i spend most of my time on the internet!!!Now the function of computer is much more than the TV,,,YOu can no anything on the internet,,even marrying,,,
