What's the BEST DIET technique?

I'm not really an obese person. Though I wanted to lose weight because I know I'm already in the verge of gaining more and more if I won't do something about it. When I'm still single, I weighed 127lbs and now that I'm married and had two kids, I have already gained 143lbs!!
Though many people say that my weight is just normal because of my height, I'm about 5'9. But still I feel a little uncomfortable when I see myself on the mirror. I missed the way I look when I'm still single and it's my goal now to manage to gain that weight again.
Right now, I'm on an oatmeal diet. I don't eat rice at all and prefer to eat veggies more. Though at first, it's quite hard to do it because I'm a 'Rice Lover'. But what keeps me on pursuing this, is that I have my GOAL. And I really want to be successful with this mission of mine.

I lost allot of weight when I started eating oatmeal 2 times a day once in the morning and then again at night. That for me has been the best weight loss trick.

I will advice you to eat rice which you love it. You rather reducing your diet i will advise you to do excerise daily morning 1 hour or go for jogging.You can lose weight and re-gain your shape also.
