Would you prefer to have a boy or a girl...

When one thinks of having children the thought of whether we want both genders or just one may pop into our heads. There are persons who say that they do not want boys as they give too much trouble and there are those who say 'uh uh' its the girls who give the most trouble in child raring. I want a boy and a girl and if I should only have one and therefore had to choose I dont know which Id prefer. I have this friend who from the beginning really wanted a daughter. To date he has two sons instead and is a great father but still yearns to have as he puts it 'his cute little daughter.' Are you (or were you) selective of the gender you would like your child to be? Why?

i wanna have both genders. i already have a boy. if i have another kid, i hope it's a girl. and i think i'm fine with having only 2 kids..but who knows, whatever gives I'll just have to accept, right?

Thats the way I see it too kquiming. I hope you get your hearts desire but if not then hey... You will just be one boy/son richer .

i whou de like to have a boy and a girl because i life i shoude face both troubles with boy and girl it is good if i do my duty as son, husbend , dad and all ,,,..and if got has desided to give us only a boy or girl we have no rights to say that i whant only this because with out asking you he has gave you lifeand he gave you every thing you whant. so accept what you get and try for what you whant

Good point on God giving us life withhout asking. I do not believe that expressing a preference in gender is a getting into God's face sort of thing though. To me its just harmless human nature as long as its not something we are hung up on.
