Don;t you think helping with their problems they face is a good hint that you love them?

I think sharing commen interests is a sure way to show you care. For example, if your boy/girlfriend has a hobby or interest you know nothing about, then asking questions and going and finding out about their interest surely shows them that you love them.

I don't have a boyfriend yet. But for me, the best way I can prove to him that I love him is by trusting him. Also I believe that action speaks louder than words so I would say that by just letting him feel that you love him is the best way to prove to him the love you feel towards the person.
