Do you like long distance journey in a Train

I like journey, so i cannot say that i don't like journey by train, i like very much if the journey is for long distance and with group of friends. You will find lot of new people from different communities, the journey may be for two or three days but during that period you will at least got opportunity to interact with other people in the train. And one more thing if the journey is with the group, then my god you will never realize how fun you will have. Its because i have personally experience a long journey in a train when we are going to MP from Assam, it was a three days journey, which i cannot forget easily.

i have never really traveled long distance via train. the only train that i occasionally take is the Mass Rail Transit. But I want to someday experience traveling via train. I have seen on travel channel that those trains have cabins and dining facilities just like a cruise ship. Our country do not have that kind of train so I guess I have to experience it elsewhere.

Yes i do love long journey in a train but haven't gone yet.I have journied for maximum 8 hours but want to journey for 2 to 3 days.I like traveling in train because it is most comfortable than bus or car.You can walk,see greenary,play games have a good rest.

when i small enough. i also want to travel by train. i fist by train , i feel very well. and firt see so many persons aroud me . that feel so good. and i wish to by other time train. for several by train to travel, if there are so many person or eat too much food in train ,that will not vevery well for you.

I have never traveled by train, but I have always wanted to. My husband and I were going to take the train from Atlanta, Ga to New Orleans, LA the week that Hurricane Katrina hit. Needless to say we cancelled our trip because of the weather. We have never made plans again to go somewhere on a train. I think it would be a lot of fun. The only train I have ever ridden was around Stone Mountain in Georgia.

sreejithsreenivas I have taken a field trip with my son when he was in junior high preparing kids for high school and getting them in mindset for college it was only an hour and half trip, but nice. I have yet to take a longer trip for quick vacation or so.

Hi sreejithsreenivas! I guess the longest time I had on a train was less than an hour. I really did like the scenery I have seen and if I will have the chance to really be in a long journey on a train, I will surely love and enjoy the ride. Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

Hi Sreejith, Like you, I also love traveling in train for long distance. As I was staying in Delhi I got many opportunities to travel long distance because my native state is Kerala. Most probably, in every year we are visiting our native place. So I traveled number of time in train. You are right journey in train is really enjoyable as we can watch so many places through out the journey and the train is going through different states. We need to spend more than 40 hours in train and this gives and opportunity to know about co-passengers. I am glad to know that you visited Delhi and enjoyed your train journey. When i was a young boy i had a long journey in train and i have climbed over the berth and started sleeping. After some time i urinated on the head of a woman and she scolded me and it was an unforgettabe journey.

ive travelled only once...even though iam not a big fan of train journey i'd like to have one big journey...its really nice to travel in a train for a very long time...we can make new friends on the way also when accompanied by a big gang i'd love to go...

I think they're really exceptionally fun, especially when you bring along things to distract yourself. Two years ago, I was on a train for two days, traveling from Guangzhou, China to Wuhan. It was really fun. I met someone, and to today we still have correspondence. Also, sightseeing in China is magnificent, be it off a train or anywhere.
