it has long been an accepted that a college or university degree is a pre-request for a promising career.or for finding a good job, having a career implies a progression in one's work life, whereby one can progress into increasing responsibe positions with a commensurate increase in pay.in our highly competitve society, whether one is in china or the US,it can be said that it is impossible for a person to find a good job with a promising future without at least a college degree.
people attend collage for many reasons...such as for new experience, career preparation, increase knowledge ,,,
above all that is my reason ,,,
why do you want to attend university.,?

i attended the university because that is the first choice for the high school students.for years it has been like this ,it seemss that people who had finished high school don't go university could be looked down by others, and those who attend a good university could be seen as a success as a learner.
so honestly speaking i just attend university blindly.you know,it seems sad for me .

It seems rather commen that people's purpose of attending college is finding a good job. However I do respect those who pay more attention to their studies and the development of their subject.
There are so many scients that sacreficed their opportunity of getting a good job and earning money, to help the development of the world.
Of course, I maybe cannot become one of those because my purpose of attending university is very simple--fingding a good job.
I have to say that I admire those ones who can go on with their parts of science forever.

In my idealism, I wanted to attend university because I would like to learn the advanced knowledge of the science that I am interested in. However, in reality, yes, I need to go to university to get a better chance when I look for a job. Also, earning a university degree will make us having a higher position in a company.

it is the trend in our country. Most parents dream of their children to enter and graduate from college and then help them.

well..being able to secure a good future is a mojor reason for joinin clg.but its nt d soul reason.i think its d communication n knwing d outside world around us dat makes clg life so important..we gather all sorts of practical knowledges of survival, learn to make independant decisions.dis is very different from our school days where we r rather protected by our parents, teachers n everybody around us..!!

people attend college or university because:
a) they are rich
b) their parents or loved ones made sure financially that they attend
c) they have a job that enables them to pay their fees so that:
1) they would be exposed to tougher minds that would definitely be a plus in any world they would choose to be in or even create for themselves
2) they would like more training and discipline in capable hands of experts that they can rightfully choose to abide by or refute
3) they would be exposed to people and be peers with people who would be shaping and moving the worlds of those who did not attend college
