Am a marketing management graduate (do i need to elaborate this LOL) but of course all the TV Ads it has been discussed to us- how it goes and what strategy do these companies use for patronizing the product right?
Question: Were there times that while watching a new TV Ads specifically and by just watching it you have convinced to buy it in the market (company used their convincing power LOL) and after buying it you just been dissappointed because it is not really like or as it is on what have you seen on TV?
am not working on a TV Ad okay LOL i just want to know also if we have same experiences hehe ;)
happy myLotting!:)

I have never been convince to buy anything from a commercial.
One thing I hate the most is the use of actors and actresses in commercials. After all that is their career, and there are plenty of people out there that could make a great commercial, especially with the economy the way it is.
It is a big turn off seeing actors and actresses, as I don't find them believable.

I wish I was like that, the actors make it seem so real. Like I said, its a good thing I don't own a credit card!

Right I hear you about the charge card. There are some commercials that don't have actors or actresses.

"Would you buy a product that they said worked on the TV (even when they have other people trying it sometimes)?"

No, things on TV rarely work just like you see them in a commercial! But I discovered there are places on the internet where you can go to check out certain things BEFORE you buy. Like for instance, The Steamer Mop! I just typed in it's name and it sent me to a site where there was positive feed back and negitive feed back about it, and after weighing all the good and the bad I decided to buy one anyway and I am glad I did! It doesn't exactly work just like you see on TV, but it does work and it is good enough for most of my floors! Then there was the (no batteries or electric) Flash light! It uses your pumping action on a little handle to light up and it is great but for only about, (6 seconds)! In order to keep a steady stream of light, you have to constantly keep pumping it and when you do that, your beam of light goes all over the place, it was awful, I sure am glad I read the review about it first! Of course I didn't buy it! Remember, before you buy anything, or believe anything you see in a commercial, read a review about it first!

My husband bought the Shaw Wow! It's pretty good, but nowhere as good as shown on television. That's why I will only buy an as seen on TV product if I actually see it and test it out first myself.

I don't believe them all the time, but I do give points for the creative ones. If you're talking about the products that they show proof to on TV, I don't buy those. I would need a credit card or debit for that and I don't have either one of those.

I can't ever recall at all, It has been quite a while that I even have watched any t.v. shows. Most of the time I watch only Movies online and play games and watch dvd on my t.v.. So far, lets say if it could indeed be a possibility. I could probably be convinced 1% of the time.
