I am always supporting Frodo Bagins, who has so much courage though being a Hobbit from Shire. His courage really surprises all of peoples in the Middle Earth, and also me.

It's hard to say really! I like most of the main characters! Frodo, Strider, Sam, Gandalf, Legelos, they are all unique in their own way. Sam was a little naive, but he was also a faithful friend, and very loyal and honorable, so I like him a lot.

Thanks for your opinion, i think it is a wise reason and i think it is rare for someone to made Sam as his favourite character... but i agree with you, Sam is one of great character, I really admired with his loyalty and his faithful...

my favourite character is aragorn....a true king who fears the power he has....that is what a ruler should be...he shpuld not be proud of his power but scared of them....through out the trilogy he gains self confidence....it has been beautifully potraited...

Really hard to choose since there's so many I love. But I guess I would have to choose Frodo Baggins. Elijah Wood does a stunning job with this part.

Legolas is my favourite, i simply love elves. But i like the other fantastic creatures too (dwarfs, hobbits, wizards, etc). The other stories after the LOTR trilogy (Sylmarillion and The Age of Men) show only the race of men, since the dwarfs came back to their caves and all the elves went to the Undying Lands... No Fantastic Creatures... Boooriiing.....

At first my favourite character was Frodo (just because he was the main character) but then I started to like Merry i Pippin, because they're extremely funny and make a great duo and Aragorn, of course. I know that most of people say that Legolas is the hottiest in LotR but for me Aragorn is the hotties one :)

I agree I had imagined Elrond as a younger,yet wise looking man.I didn't like it when Hugo portrayed a weakening version of Elrond.It seemde to me that Elrond stood firm and wise no matter what the situation.
