I know it might sound a little stupid to raise such a question here, but i feel that we all have a certain perception about life and its many wonders. Through this discussion, i want all of you to send some of the most moving experiences of your life that have strengthened your faith in the power of the almighty.
I would really appreciate if all you guys could share your insights and benefit us all.

Not only have I felt God close enough to be described as "seen", but I am convinced beyond any reasonable doubt that He exists(though the use of pronouns like He /She are just linguistic conveniences rather than a representation of what THAT is.)
Now when somebody says he/she has seen God the 'see' shouldn't be taken in the same manner as I see a tree or I see a cup on a table. You have asked us to share experiences that had strengthened our faith in God. Man, they are too numerous for the count taking from my childhood to today. If I can say it succinctly - if somebody asked me why do you believe or place faith in God I would say mine is A Life that happened because of His Blessings.
In fact if I were to title an autobiography it would something on these lines. I was so thrilled beyond words when Sh.Ghanashyam Das Birla titled his autobiography as "Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum". Well there was a lot of criticism about his choice by the journalists. In short if there is something that could be seen as clearly with closed eyes as with open eyes it is God and only God!

Floyd57,
True. I did not mention Christ. It is a Christian perception of the Indescribable[Our preferred attribute for God], that God sent His only begotten Son so that He would save the world, form sin and take them to His abode. Please restrain yourself from the extreme thoughts of the kind, that I or anyone for that matter will be cast into Hell if I do not accept Jesus Christ's ministry. Please meditate on the essence of a statement rather than on the way it is put in words.Giving an extreme view of a situation - that is, if you do not stay away from sin and the temptations of the world then you will have to be permanently away from God- is the essence of the message. Every person who does good and makes an effort to free oneself from the Deadly sins has to and will find a place in Heaven and near God. The emphasis of accepting Jesus as the Savior is to drive home the incomprehensibility of sin itself. Since it is humanely impossible to figure out what is sin and what is not, accepting Jesus as the Savior is recommended in the Christian Scripture. While I have the highest respect for the view: God, the Son of God, and The Holy Ghost and The Scripture that is the Holy Bible, please do give some thought to the idea, that God is beyond the compass of any understanding. Hence there are many ways to God. If that were not so, why there was Moses and then so many other Prophets of the OT and then Lord Jesus as The Savior?
And then again, there was Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) whose word the devout Muslim would declare as final even while accepting Jesus Christ(PBUH) as a Prophet? We must therefore realize:There are many ways to God.I have followed one way.
In mine there is no Hell, if I just make it the mission of my life to just return to His abode. To me God says, "Just turn towards Me, I will run to wards you.
Man, Floyd, you are entitled to your view of what is the Way,the Truth and the Light. I am certainly happy to see someone who is unswervingly rested his faith in Jesus Christ. May God Bless you.

Dear Floyd,
Don't be so closed in your interpretation of the Almighty. Dear Friend, there are different faiths and traditions being followed by people in different parts of the world. Christanity is definitely the biggest, follwed by Muslims, Buddhits, Hindus, Sikhs, Jews, and the others. Although all of these religions have adopted different ways to practice his (The Almighty's) worship, but ultimately they all lead us to the ONE and only one absolute truth, the magnificient and the benevolent God.
We all are his sons and daughters, that's why we all are brothers and sisters. These national and international boundaries dividing us are only created by governments elected by people. The fact of the matter is that we are world citizen's of this great mother nature, so verdantly blessed on our earth.

Yes, I had an out of body experience when I was 18 or 19 years old. I saw only an arm of my body which looked like crumpled up aluminum in the mooonlight which my hand and arm was the same profile without hair and such. No fingernails, etc. but just the profile of another body of some kind. It was kinda silver. I looked to see what was around me and only say a thick black wall of what looked like dirt or solid black thick dust and felt if I were to go into that it would be like a magnet and i never would be able to move or get out. There is more to what happened to me but I prefer to say this elsewhere. I can say that it changed my view of my life and made me more aware of eternal life beyond the physical body. Now I know that life does not end with the body dying. I believe in the power of God the Supreme Creator of Heaven and Earth, the Supreme Ruler of Heaven and Earth and His Son Jesus the Christ whom is my saviour. I have never seen God. I have never seen Christ. I can only tell you that to know them and the power on them is to experience the unknown and experience what happens by calling on them. I guess it is an inner faith or belief that gives one the ultimate understanding to know the power and the ability of God and His Son in our daily lives. There is no other name given under Heaven and in Earth whereby a man can be saved other than the name of the Lord Jesus the Christ. That is the truth and that is the fact. Please believe me because of my own experience in many perils.

I think yoy are right here. It is all a matter of faith, that we try to restore in ourself everytime we are faced by a difficult situation, and there seems to be no way out of the present crisis.
