An airline in Europe is going to start charging $1.40 per visit to the toilet. Would you pay to use the toilet on an airplane? It seems to me they should be worried about sanitary conditions as some people start trying to find other ways to go. There could be an increase in wearing adult diapers or carrying of empty water bottles onto planes. Then there is also the possiblity of reduction in revenue from drinks being sold as some people might cut back to avoid having to go. It seems like a bad idea to me. What do you think?

I could understand on short haul flights under an hour but any more you are gonna ge tpeople being creative on how to save the fee. This is also like extorsion they have you locked up in a metal tube and they control just about everything that happens on the plane except our bodily functions it is not like you can hang it out the window and relive yourself.

I think that's one of the stupidest ideas they've come up with yet. For the prices one has to pay for airline seats, that should surely be included. I'm sure there will be a lot of people boycott that airline if they put this into effect. I agree too, there will probably be a loss of revenue because you wouldn't buy their drinks so they wouldn't have to fork out $1.40 for using the bathroom afterwards. You know, back in the 50's and 60's lots of airports and other public buildings used to have 'paid' toilets, then people pitched such a fit that they had to have x amount of stalls that were totally free. I don't think this is an idea that will fly (pun intended lol)
