Did you watch the 8 Oscar winning movie slumdog millionaire? Did you like the movie? Do you feel like watching it again and again?
When i first saw the movie i didn't feel any thing special about it, just another movie... but when the movie started to bag awards after awards i watched it again and started to like it more. ever since i watched it some 3-4 times already. I liked the acting of the kids very much especially that of Salim.
What are your thoughts about the movie? What you liked about it the most?

Watched it and found it to be quite nice.
Not sure if it's worthy of 8 Oscars though...
Though having real-life slumdog kids playing the roles of the main actor/actress kids, kinda made me feel weird. Wish that after winning those Oscars and earning a lot from the movie sales that the producers give a little something back to those kids and their families

what ever be it...It will go down the history as 8 Oscar winning movie. Dont worry about the kids, already a trust has been created for them which will look after their educational expenses and what ever left over will be handed over to them when they are above 18. happy?

but both the son and dad apologized to each other on this issue and lets hope its not a serious matter as the media describe it to be, even though its immature from the part of the dad to have done that.

thats good news. was also able to read some news that the dad of one of the kids blew up on him when he didnt want to go out and display himself as he was tired from the trip from the US... hope that dad gets his behind kicked by social welfare or anything of that sort in India...

Yea I like it very much. I find the acting of the actors, especially the child actors, very real. The kids are so cute and so innocent. While watching the movie, my heart aches when I see the kind of lifestyle the children lead.
The filming is also very real. I think it really captures the slum life.
It's indeed a deserving winner.

Two of the kids... Azharuddin and Rubina, were picked up from real slums, even at the Oscars you can see the difference between these two and the others, they cant even speak English and not as confident as others, so its more proper to tell that they were living rather than acting.

Nope I have not seen this movie yet nor do I care to really see this movie since it looks like a romance movie and I hate romance movies mainly because it makes me jealous because I cant find a damn girl lol. But I am shocked this won 8 oscars at the academy awards I knew it would win some but never thought it would win 8.

i have never try to watch the movie even i heard that movie was won in the big oscar award, i still dont have a chance to watch the movie.
In my own opinion, it is a very good movie because it will not be a winner if it is not a convincing and interested movie.

Credit should go to those who selected the kids who fits perfectly to the roles assigned to them.
