I have met so many kids who make me laugh I just don't see how any one could ever be depressed around children. I know it's hard if you want your own and don't or can't have them but kids are so entertaining when they aren't driving you crazy. They make you laugh even when you don't want to!
My neice is the most adorable little kid and she has deadpan timing. She says something out of the blue when youleast expect it and it cracks everyone up. Do you know what Snuggies are? My mom ordered one for my aunt for xmas and it took forever for it to come in. They were in town recently for mardi gras parades and we wee discussing costumes and my aunt had on the snuggie and my neice told her if she had a torch she could be the statue of liberty! We all cracked up laughing for the longest time.

I must agree with you. I've worked a lot with kids, and every time I enjoy it. There's just something about them that makes things just fun and amusing.
The way that you describe your niece reminds me so much of the eldest of my two nieces. there was once, over the holidays, I was with her mother and my fiance, who are brother and sister, and twice within a few minutes, when my niece would said two things that made us laugh, while the three of us were talking. She is just a riot. Both of my nieces are riots, like quite a few other kids I've met. When I say 'riot', I don't mean it in the negative way. What I mean is that they're just amazing.

I know what you meant; riot is also used to mean that something is really funny. Thanks for sharing your neice story!

When my oldest nephew was really little he was a delight to be around on a "bad" day. This was even before he really started walking and talking. There was just something about him.
