have you seen movie "Slumdog millionaire"?

I watched the movie two months back. What I feel of the movie is, it was to able to get so much acclaim because no other movies were better than this. But I think it was more of a hype than what the movie actually deserves in absolute terms. I have seen many other movies which were trying to bring in a similar kind of concept, that were far better than this and deserved a better treatment. Apart from that the way India is being portrayed as a poor country that lives on the pity of others, this is not the exact case. In fact India is the second fastest growing economies of the world and is also having a GDP of more than 1 trillion dollars. So factually there are some truths but they are portrayed in a hyped manner.

Yes I have seen slumdog millionaire before it got the oscars.I did like the movie and love the music.

Nope I havnt seen this movie nor do I really want to since its a romance movie at least thats what it looks like to me. And I dont really care for romance movies but It does look kind of cool because of the whole I want to be a millionare thing that would be the only reason why I would see this movie if I ever decide to see it.
