For me, that person would be my spouse.
He's my very best friend. That doesn't mean
we don't argue or disagree. We are two very head strong
people.
Sure we have our difficult moments.
Who doesn't?
But, he's there for me when I need to talk.
It's not always lovey-dovey. But we have
the best communication.
Last night, both of us stayed up till 2:30 AM
talking. We got a lot of things worked out.
Of course, then I still had to get up early this morning.
And now I'm totally tired and tying up loose
ends for the month and wishing I were in bed.
But, it's nice to be online with my Mylot friends.
My Mylot friends have kept me sane during my
worst times this past two years; like when 3 of my
kittens passed away on the same night.
I was so heart broken. I cried for a week.
The only thing that kept me sane and focused
was taking care of my daughter and chatting online
at Mylot.
It was a real stress reliever for my brain.

There are a couple people in my life that I know I could count on to be there for me. I haven't really had to test this, thank goodness, but I know they are good people, with good hearts, and I trust them dearly. It's interesting how some people use the term best friend so lightly. I consider it one of the deepest relationship people can have. I think some throw around the term to try and make themselves feel less alone in this world.

I never really thought about it, but besides my fiance and family, I really do not have a friend like that either. They are enough for me.
