do you think that todays generation is better?

i have heard a lot on the news about people in todays generation doing horrible things to other people and getting arrested for it(such as killing/hurting..etc)and i don't know why people do this honestly because i would think that people would be happier helping people rather than hurting others, and i talked to some older people about it and they said that things like this never happened back in their day, and i was just wondering do you think that todays generation is better(because of them coming up with more to cure diseases and things like that)or worse(because of people being more agressive thse days)i would like to take this time to thank everyone that has taken time out of their day to come by and read my discussion and hopefully provide an answer for my discussion, i hope that you all have a great and happy weekend, thanks once again for taking the time to come by and happy mylotting!
