I love birds, there is just something about listening to their chirping, that makes me so happy. I had a beautiful apple tree last year, I even had a bird feeder hanging from it. Sadly the tree died and we had to have it removed. This winter I finally decided to put up a new bird feeder on the tree in our front yard. To my pleasant surprise, there were more birdy visitors this year, than I had last year. What is your favorite bird? Do you have a bird feeder? What made you decide to put, or not put up one?

I have always enjoyed birds, ever since I can remember as a child we had bird feeders, all different type feeders. My favorite bird would be the finch, because of all the different color variations. I always wanted to buy a window feeder that goes under your open window that you can see them, they cannot see you.

I love birds in general. I like listening to their chirping just like you.
My computer is situated near the window. As I'm typing this there are lot's of
birds in our rope this morning. They are chirping and that's what I call raw music.
No musical instrument, just plain bird singing. I love it. I plan to have a bird pet
soon. Wish me luck.

I love birds, too, and I'm jealous, reading through the responses. :) I used to have a room where I could see the birds come to the feeder as I sat at the computer. We had so many birds there! I couldn't even list the varieties any more. I have a feeder here and have had for the last few years but mostly it's just sparrows and an occasional blue jay or the crows that take over in the spring. I miss having many different kinds.

I too love birds.I love the way they make noise.I also love the way they walk.I love the bird dove.It tries to come into my house and lay eggs. Two times we allowed it and saw the tiny little doves yellow in color. It comes because we give it grains and water.I do not have a bird feeder.I randomly put grains at the window for the bird to eat.

We have a bird table in our backgarden, and it is much used by a great variety of birds including blackbirds, pigeons and robins. We also have lots of shrubs with berries on that attract even more varieties; bullfinches, chaffinches, greenfinches, and many other small birds. I don't have a favourite, although watching blackbirds bathing in the birdbath is very entertaining!
