What would you do if your boss screams at you in front of other people?

I am retired now but in all the years I worked I never had a boss that did this. Too bad for you. You should not have to put up with that. However I think if I had had one of those I like to think I would consider why they do it and then let it go. Most people who do this I think have way to much stress and this is how it comes out. You are right it is very unprofessional and so that tells me something else may be going on with her. Your boss may feel threatened that her job may be in jeopardy and this is how she handles it. Yes it is very unprofessional but she may not be able to handle it any other way. Try to consider where she is coming from and just let it go. If you are doing your job the way it should be done then you should have no reason to be concerned with how she acts. As for what you can do. Well she is your boss so it may not be a good idea to follow through on your impulse. Of course if you have another job lined up....well maybe then. LOL Remember if she screams at everyone then it's just her so try not to take it personally. Don't let her stress you out. I know how hard that is but for your own sake you must do that.
