If you could place a note in a bottle, set it to any Ocean or sea, what would your note say and where would you send it? Strange questions? Not really... Today, with the internet, we CAN send a "virtual" note in a bottle to anywhere we choose. But if the World Wide Net suddenly went down, and you could only send a bottled note, what would you want the person that found it to read? I think these things because I have many friends online that if the net is down, I have No way to contact them. Friends here are as dear as those I see each and every day. To lose contact with them is sad and leaves my mind wondering. I had a dear friend that I had got close to through my Novels. We corresponded e-mail and snail mail. I had sent her mail both ways when I had not heard from her in a week. A week isn't too long as we all know that life DOES happen. I sent in the mails my # in case she had no internet.One week later I did get a phone call. It was her daughter who said she had opened my letter and remembered her mom speaking of me and my novels. She called to say that her mom had passed away and to thank me for being her friend. Minus the phone, I guess i would have wondered forever. If I did place a note in a bottle though, it would say... "To all that know me, I will think of you until we can communicate again. You will be near my heart and My eyes will watch the Ocean in case you find this bottle and send it back." Where I would send it would be where-ever it could reach the four corners of the earth. And I might send a second bottle that said words that Only the one who had heard them before would know and then they would know it was from me... Silly discussion perhaps but humor me...
