I lost my mobile - actually it was stolen when we had a large get-together on our wedding anniversary. Unbelievably after about 100 days the person who stole it felt guilty and returned it! It was an amazing incident!

No so far I have never lost mine. I have had one several years now but it has become a part of me and is always where I go. If I lost it I also have another which I do not take with me everywhere, The same numbers are on both of them so I would not have that problem. I hope you found all your old numbers by now. Happy Lotting!

I'm sorry about your phone... I almost lost my phone in a taxi too. luckily, I felt my phone slid out of my pocket when I was about to get out of the taxi... I always keep a small phonebook to write my family and friends' numbers so that in case I really lost my cellphone, I still have their numbers maybe, when you have your new phone, you can try sending emails to your friends to let them know your new number... or ask some of the friends you hang out with the other numbers of your common friends that you originally have on your lost phone. by the way, is your phone a post paid? If so, try to contact your provider to cancel your phone plan and inform them that you lost your phone, you might be able to get a replacement for the lost phone, too. if that is included in your phone plan insurance, though.... Be positive, ^_^... put this down to experience and check everything that you have in your pockets and bags before you get off the taxi next time... ^_^ hugs...

i never lost or spoilt a phone in my entire life until my second to the last vacation. i had a long night and ended up staying at my date's flat. in the morning, i was fetched by a cab. since his place was so far from mine, i didn't have enough local money to pay the driver so i asked him to stay and I've asked my mom for few bucks. now when i was about to get back to sleep and get some needed rest, i grabbed my fon in my jeans pocket and it wasn't there. i felt numbed and weak coz all my friends' number are stored in that hand phone. and i was thinking how in the world would i be able to contact them while i'm in the country?!!! i don't have access to internet either so i was totally messed up! now i was thinking, could it be lost in the cab or at my date's flat? dunno... but one thing is, last vacation, he saw me in the bar and surprised i was back for holiday and i didn't even let him know that i am around...

I lost my cell phone 3 years ago, at the restaurant in the new year day. Well,it was becaused of my own carelessness. I placed my phone on the table, when finished my lunch, i just went home and left my phone there. After 30minutes i realized, came back to that place. But it had gone. I was so hopeless that time, coz i didnt have any back up..

I keep a book with all my numbers, but you better call your provider and have it disconnected right away. Then can shut it down. It's not good that they have access to all your contacts, now. even anyphotos you have in it. oh no...
