February the month of Trolls?

Welcome to the month of March. Here again we are marching to the 3rd month of 2009, with many promising events lined up in everybody's agendas and hopefully March will be an upturn month for mylotters. As the the month of February is gone, good riddance, as many has seen as the month with the most unprecedented chain of posts regarding trolls. May we dedicate February as the month of trolls as far as mylot is concerned as this is the month that have seen the most surprising events happening in mylot. The once quiet people of mylot who are unduly disturbed by trivial matters happening here are stumping their foot and shouting foul when they were challenged by these so called trolls. When the 'big boys' and 'super ladies' make noises there must be something not right here. You and me, are left with our mouths wide open in disbelief that trolls are once again running around in mylot village playing pranks and showing their superpower to de-stabilize the established mylot community.
The trolls have emerged as the no. 1 enemy in this peaceful and fun loving mylot residence causing a lot of problems by purposely rating others negatively and trying to show their innocent by responding and requesting for friendship only to be covered by a thick mask of evil in their actions. They stalk you and see that you be demoralized by their actions. Not satisfied in their internal works they are now venturing to other tactics and the latest is sending emails to individuals to get them booted out of mylot by voluntarily unsubscribing to mylot. What a trick? Many are caught off-guard but common sense tells that mylot admin will never subscribe to such an unprofessional approach.
There are also those twin sisters and brothers of trolls who impersonate members by creating usernames of existing members by only having a slight change in spelling but for people not observant enough it is difficult to differentiate a stone from a diamond. Can't you just be yourself my friend and create your own identity rather then hoping to gain mileage from others success? Honestly, I have been a victim of one impersonator and later discovered that I was duped! She is not my friend that I used to response.
Trolls, this is the month of lent, please repent and be our friends. There is no point in hiding behind the mask of trolls. If you don't like it here please leave us in peace for we are peace loving people trying to make few pennies here.

It is really bad to know that trolls are disturbing the peace of mylot home and family by resorting to unhealthy and unkind practices. I wonder what prompts them to do so. If at all some of the members are rating others as 'negative', it shows their bent of mind. Rating negative means spreading negativity and anger. I feel that if they do not like someone's post, they can skip or ignore it and be polite with their attitude. I am really astonished and taken a back to know that someone tried to belittle you by stalking you as an impersonator. Hope he/she reads your discussion and in the month of lent, reforms himself/herself.

Very well put zandi458. I have seen the impersonator you are talking about and it made me quite sick. Why are they being so childish?
I sincerely hope your plea to these trolls will have some effect and they will either join us properly or leave us alone!

I am so angry with the impersonator. she even has the chick to post discussions and gave out offensive comments to all responders. Even put unkind remarks to my responders in this discussions. My friends who saw it joined hands and reported to mylot. It was quickly removed from my discussion together with her gangs. These trolls have made mylot their breeding ground to propagate their evil intentions. They are a group of desperadoes who have nothing better to do but to make the life of others miserable.

Well, they go as fast as they come. It only takes them a short period to be here to create havoc. If left unreported they cause more harm to many people here. It is indeed very frustrating that mylot couldn't stop this organized group from perpetuating their mission of impossible in a good place like this.

i don't know why people can't live & let live. i don't understand so called adults acting like 2 year ols. i just don't understand why poeple are constantly waiting to hurt people especially people they don't even know, i know there are ppeople who enjoy tending to others buisness but if they are like me they'd have a full time job taking care of their own.i feel sorry for people that immature. maybe if we say a prayer for them it would help tnem. they need help from somewhere. have a happy sunday, zandi.

Yes my friend, If they don't like it here they could just leave us in peace for we are peace loving people here. But it seems they could not do that my dear. I think that is their business and will not be happy it could not malign somebody or spew out their dirty thoughts. Maybe it"s mylot who should rather drive them out. It is better to block the accounts of those trolls so they could stop their doing their dirty things here.

It was a year ago Fevruary when MyLot cancelled my account because a troll complained about my posts. MyLot doesn`t bother investigating, they just zap you and then tell you too bad. I was within a quarter of cashing out, too.

Let's look at this from the Troll's point of view. Did they have fun fooling us all,
did they feed on all the energy expanded to limit their activity? Just what was there to be gained? What ever it was let's stop it, I hope mylot was able to install some safe guards. Thank you.

Well, I really hope so saypat, that mylot be more stringent in their rules for registration of new members here. Otherwise in no time this place is going to be populated by those unruly characters which am afraid will be a battleground for these hooligans to wrist control of this otherwise peaceful social site.

I could not agree with you more. I think that it is wrong to try to take credit for something that someone else did. I can't believe that there are actually people here that are bold enough to try that. I hope that this month will be better and that said trolls will not come out from under their bridge. I am working very hard this month to try to respond to all the people that have responded to me and that I will be able to earn a good pay out as well. I missed this months pay outs because of some personal problems so I am hoping this month goes better. I hope that you don't get any more visits from the trolls.Good luck and happy mylotting.

As I see it these trolls will make their appearance more often as they have become more and more daring now and would do anything to make our stay here miserable. Looks like they have made mylot their breeding ground to wage a war against anybody who infuriate them.

It does seem like February was the month of trolls here in this community and it is time for them to move on. We don't need them here and they have caused enough havoc here for many months. I hope that we can all be adults here now and treat each other with kindness and honesty. Just be yourself and don't try to take over someone else's identity. It is not fair to either of the people involved. I think that March will be a much better month here. I hope so as I like this site and would hate to think that the problems could hurt the participation here.

Once upon a time mylot has been running a troll free site and everyone was having good time here. As its popularity surge it attracted all kind of weird characters and that is where the problem starts. I hope these people realize their folly and be more human in their behaviour.

Wow, really? There are people around that are trying to impersonate another person with some tricky ways of registering the spelling of the nicks used here?
I have been really busy to actually noticed.
The only responses I have been able to catch up with in the last month are all those that are on my friends' list. And I only replied to discussions and replies that were notified in my mailbox. Never got the chance to ventured out of my mailbox for the whole of last month!

I miss you angel...where have you been? You are MIA for weeks. You missed the games the trolls played and I can tell you it was hellish moment for me when they coomented on every response that come to this discussions with vulgarity and offensive words. They were very daring indeed. It was like an invasion of the terrorists as they worked in group and few of them were controlling my discussions. Maybe they were angered with me for highlighting their activities here.

Why after all they are doing so? Maligning others' image they do theirs. And this is not known to them. If one is going ahead on the strength of his own virtue why should you have the jealousy? Leave them as they have never stolen your sleep.
