Hello Spunkie!
I believe in love and fate. That people come into our lives for a reason. To enrich our lives in such a way that only that one person can, to learn something about ourselves we wouldn't otherwise know, and to grow from those experiences.
Recently I met someone who has done all of the above for me and so much more. The only way I can describe our meeting to begin with is pure fate as we're currently both married, our situations are very complicated, yet very different at the same time. But we have become great friends, confidants, and I could go on and on. We often talk about this topic, wondering what liefs plan was in crossing our paths. Realizing that we've both been so unhappy for so long, that it had become in essence a part of us to the point we hadn't noticed.
But because of him I realized how unhappy my life was, how unhappy I was in my marriage. I also realized for the first time that I was in a marriage with someone who I didn't love, who was extremely controlling, selfish, and abusive. He gave me the strength to see these things and get away from it and since then I've been happier in life and with myself than I have ever been. In a way he saved me from myself. From sacrificing myself, my happiness and my own self-worth anymore than I already had and for that I will forever be grateful to him and I know in my heart that fate played a big role in what happened, or at least in my opinion it did.
So to answer your question, Yes, I whole heartedly believe in fate and that love can come in many shapes, sizes, forms, and from those we never would have expected it from.
